Innovation in our Workshop: a New Robot ARM Enhances Luxinox’s CNC Turning Operations

Luxinox takes another step toward smart automation with the integration of a new stand-alone Robot ARM in the turning department, supplied by Top Automazioni.

This advanced robotic system is designed to boost production efficiency and automate low-value-added operations such as manual part loading and unloading. Equipped with a 6-axis FANUC anthropomorphic arm, it can handle loads up to 25 kg with a repeatability of ±0.5 mm, ensuring reliable and consistent precision. The unit can be interfaced with various CNC machines and operates without the need for continuous human supervision.

Our Robot ARM includes a vertical tower storage system, featuring custom-designed part trays (up to 24 trays per cart) and tailored grippers for both round and rectangular profiles. The programming is quick and user-friendly, thanks to a dedicated software and touch panel interface.

This investment will help increase productivity, maintain constant work cycles, and speed up delivery times, thanks to the continuity of automated operations. It also reduces operator workload on repetitive tasks, enabling personnel to focus on higher-value activities.
